Tormey Butchers was experiencing a drop in sales due to Covid 19 and were looking to future proof their business and boost sales by selling products online. Tormey Butchers has been in business for over 70+ years and they realised they needed to evolve with the changing landscape in order to continue to best serve their customers.
Tormey Butchers needed a re-brand and a new website. They’d been around for over 70 years and operated with the same marketing material they started with. The only new customers were from referrals and new residents moving into their locality. We came up with three clear objectives.
Objective 1 | Design a clean, modern e-commerce website that delivers a seamless and engaging user experience in order to maximise sales revenue.
Objective 2 | Build a highly functional order management system which retains usability so their different locations could track and manage orders easily.
Objective 3 | Ensure SEO and analytics are in place to maximise rankings and to help monitor campaign effectiveness.
We opted to refresh the company brand. Same name, revised logo and colour scheme along with a new website with an emphasis put on generating online orders.
Tormey Butchers needed a simple and user friendly Content Management System so we built the new site using WordPress. This meant that Tormey Butchers could make easy content edits themselves, and wouldn’t need to rely on us to make changes.
We also built their order management system and integrated this into their site so make for a seamless user experience between ordering online to order fulfilment.
Having re-designed hundreds of websites over the years and many being in a similar situation, we have developed a simple process that each of our website projects follow.
